We were impressed with every single aspect of our stay at the Royal Kahal. Our family of 4 stayed in an Ocean View 3BR for five nights. The unit we stayed in was stunning, from the view to the furnishings and all of the included amenities. The staff was absolutely top-notch, every single one of them! They accommodated an early check in, picked us all up at the airport (and all of our luggage), gave us insulated water bottles and welcome drinks and cool towels upon arrival. Anything we asked for or needed, they took care of within minutes. They just opened a poolside/swim up bar, and the bartender knew us by name and made sure we were always taken care of when in the pool or beach area - even set us up with ice for our condo too. The groundskeeper hand-swept the beach in front of the condo every morning so it was pristine, and he always made sure our chairs and umbrellas were perfect when relaxing on the beach! The housekeeping staff kept our unit clean daily - the place was spotless and smelled so good. There was always a parking spot available for our rented golf cart in front of the building. The GM, Bert, always made sure we were having a great time, offered many recommendations and accommodations and set up a wonderful New Years Eve party on the rooftop during our visit. We were able to meet our boat tour guide on the dock right in front of the building, beach walk to neighboring resorts and restaurants, and found the central location to be excellent for accessing all of the fun that San Pedro has to offer. We highly recommend Royal Kahal, especially for families who may want a more private and quiet resort with a larger space to stay that has a few bedrooms. Most certainly a 5-star+ review!

Excellent place to stay for families. Great staff and great service. Rooms are extraordinarily well appointed with luxurious amenities, washer and dryer and a fully equipped kitchen.
Grocery stores and amenities are not that far away. Would recommend you get a golf cart if you want to get around to downtown - esp if walking a half mile or so is a problem.
Alex is especially welcoming and helps with anything you need. Highly recommend.

Absolutely incredible! The Royal Kahal in San Pedro exceeded all my expectations 100⭐️/ 10. From the moment we arrived, the staff was warm, welcoming, and attentive to every detail. We were even greeted with cocktails and fresh cool hand towels (like WOW). The rooms were immaculate, spacious, and had breathtaking views of the ocean. Waking up to the sound of the ocean and enjoying coffee on the private balcony was pure bliss.
The amenities were top-notch, including a pristine pool, cafe & swim up bar!! The beach access couldn’t have been more convenient, with plenty of lounge chairs, umbrellas & gazebo’s.
What truly set this hotel apart was the exceptional service. Every staff member went above and beyond to ensure we had an unforgettable stay, including setting up a private chef 4 course dinner on the balcony. They did not believe in the word “NO”. It felt like a home away from home with all of the bells and whistles. I can’t wait to return and highly recommend this gem to anyone looking for a perfect beach getaway!

We just came back from a very enjoyable week at the Royal Kahal right after Tropical Storm Sara. We needed to push a couple of days due to the storm and the Royal Kahal was very accommodating. This is a new building of elegant condominiums that are just being introduced to the rental market. Large rooms, gourmet kitchen, indoor/outdoor patio with wall to wall glass opening doors. We were able to pack for a week in carry on suitcases since they have LG in room washer and dryers, just bring environmentally friendly detergent sheets and fabric softener sheets,or go to the local store to get supplies. There are many restaurants with quality food nearby. The inhouse bar and grill and cafe was not open yet, but from the looks of it, it will be open in a matter of days. We ran into a snag getting stuck in Belize City and weren't going to be able to make our flight into Ambergris Caye. The staff was so fantastic that they even tried to help us get a hotel in/around Belize City until we could get to the island. We had an incredible stay at Royal Kahal Resort in San Pedro! The hotel is beautiful, with clean and comfortable rooms, and the location is perfect for exploring the island. What truly made the visit special was the outstanding service from the staff. Gisellie, Allen, and Bert went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. They were friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile.
Their exceptional hospitality made me feel so welcome, and we can’t thank them enough for making my stay unforgettable. We highly recommend this resort to anyone visiting San Pedro! Would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Royal Kahal Beach Resort (RKBR) is absolutely the finest resort I have ever visited and I’ve been at a few. It’s just the perfect size, not too big and not too small , a perfect boutique hotel, well worthy of a five star rating. Let me describe our unit. It is the fifth floor penthouse and the view from the living room and patio feels as if you’re right on the ocean. The patio doors open completely as if it’s one huge living area. We hosted a twenty five person birthday party for my wife’s celebration of turning fifty years old and no one felt crowded or cramped with the additional chairs from the patio. The eight chairs from the nearby dining area helped as well as the bar stools. The views from every room in the unit all hosted excellent views of the Caribbean Sea. The patio was my favorite since we had on unobstructed view of the sea as well early morning joggers and boats heading out to sea. My dog, Elsa, and I would spend our mornings together having my coffee, enjoying the warm breeze and watching the sunrise over the water. As I said earlier, there are windows in every room including the spacious dining and kitchen with a view of the south end of the island and water the same aspect in the foyer. The two bedrooms are well sized enough for a queen beds, two nightstands and a chest of drawers with plenty of closet space. The master bedroom also serves as a lockout unit that can be rented out as an efficiency rental. We took it as our master bedroom with a king size bed, nightstand, chest of drawers. A small desk for writing or checking emails while away from home. The mattresses and pillows are to die for. I never have slept like I did at RKBR. I even asked the owners for their secret manufacture. It is large enough to accommodate a futon bed/couch perfect for reading by the floor to ceiling window or having little ones have a place to sleep in a twin size bed. It also has a microwave and a mini refrigerator. The penthouse also has original oil paintings from several island artists including the award winning PaPo. Undoubtedly, the most outstanding asset RKBR is the staff. One of my favorites is Brian ALWAYS has a smile on his face. Every morning he greeted me with “ Good morning Papa K ( which was my nickname for most of the island). He would help me and Elsa down and up the steps leading to the beach as I have a severe limb from drop-foot. He would even come in on his days off just to help me. I tried to get him to give himself some time off but he wouldn’t hear of it. He wanted nothing in return but to share his kindness. If I were to share every positive aspect of the staff I would have to write a book. But, I would be a miss if I didn’t try to mention some. The manager Bert is exceptional! His customer service skills were top notch and he became one of my closest friends on the island. Allan, the maintenance director, is incredible. He was there for any request or need with a big smile. He would go the extra mile just to make sure we were well taken care of. Claudia, the office manager, was very knowledgeable and was there every morning with a smile and hug to start out my day. And I definitely could not miss to mention the housekeeping staff. Elida, Jesse and Rosa. 3 of the most caring and loving ladies that you would ever want to meet. Not only did they do a great job cleaning our condo but the love that they shared with all of us was amazing. My wife became ill during our stay and they were right by her side taking care of her, which was definitely not in their job description. I’m sorry if I forgot anyone but the entire team are amazing. Thank you for making our time in Belize some of the most memorable times of my life. And I pray there will be many more visits in the future. God bless!

The condos are very impressive, with giant floor-to-ceiling windows that slide open so the outside and inside blend together. The panoramic views of the ocean are beautiful as well, very calm on that side of the island. In total the condos are stunning, modern, and very spacious. There are lots of restaurants nearby, and plenty of golf cart rental places so you won’t be limited to the same area. Even if you do stay at the condo, there is a huge kitchen with all the full sized appliances, even a dishwasher, wine fridge, and multiple sinks with clean water faucets. We can’t wait to return in the future.
